Some dates of Gospel.


1619: First africans arrived in Virginia.
1775: America is independant. Even slaves were considered as non-human and their trade was rising at eighteen's century, a lot of them were recruited y all congregations.
1780:Black independent parishes are created.
1787: Some groups of black dissidents left Methodist churches.
1801: Richard Allen is pastor of the first parish of african episcopal Methodist church. He publishes a collection of hymns which is named "A collection of spirituals songs and hymns selected from various authors".
1860: Publication of popular black songs which a lot of white people don't know.
1867:Under the management of their white professor, Georges L. White, young students of the university of Fisk (Nashville, Tenessee) attracted on there choirs attention of american and european people. They presented a concert in Nashville.
1872: "Fisk jubilee singers" became famous by singing in Boston during World Peace Jubilee.
