A first meet with Gospel.
I would tell my first meet with Gospel. It really has governed my interest in this type of music. That's an anecdote but in my opinion, the proof music and here Gospel can permit to open people to others and to get over human borders.
It was few years ago, in an outdoors theater. I was come in a little village of Provence to see a Gospel concert. There was a lot of people, as well adults as children. All these people talk, laugh too and it was a lot of noise. I was set up at the top of the theater. It was a great summer evening, stars shined in the sky.
Suddenly, the choir is gone up the step and concert has begun. All persons who made noise were suspended to the lips of choristers. They have sung all classicals as "Oh when the saints" or "Oh happy day".
At a moment, the chief of choir has begun to explain her little brother has had a serious accident some years ago. He was burned by a fire. Her voice really was sensitive, it was so moving. And it was rising and rising in emotion, again and again. She has explained her brother has been saved by music. I was crying and listening this woman.
I'm telling this anecdote to show how music can exceed human borders. So, territories are inhabited by people and they are likely to be touched by musical emotion.
